Awarded annually to undergraduate students in demonstrated financial need who are entering or proceeding from one year to another in a STEM program related to telecommunications. Eligible recipients will be part of one or more of the following equity deserving groups: students who identify as women, students who are Indigenous, racialized students, students with disabilities, students who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. Application is required. Established in 2025 by Nokia Canada Inc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0Applicants must be international or domestic students currently enrolled and studying full-time in an undergraduate degree program with: \u2013 School of Computer Science \u2013 School of Information Technology \u2013 Department of Systems and Computer Engineering (Faculty of Engineering and Design) \u2013 Department of Electronics (Faculty of Engineering and Design)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must have leadership skills demonstrated through extra-curricular activities, campus, and community involvement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0The Nokia scholarships and bursaries are intended for students from underrepresented groups in STEM, which includes\u00a0<b>applicants who identify as women, applicants who are Indigenous, racialized applicants, applicants with disabilities, and applicants who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+<\/b><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be considered for the Nokia Canada STEM Stars Scholarship, eligible candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 8.5 or better<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be considered for the Nokia Canada Future Forward Bursary, eligible candidates must demonstrate financial need<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Up to $5,000.
