The School of Computer Science invites applications from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach courses that will be offered during the winter 2018 term or during the 2017\/2018 and 2018\/2019 academic years within the multi-term agreement.\u00a0 Specific courses requiring CIs are listed below and course descriptions are available at: \u00a0calendar.carleton.ca\/undergrad\/courses\/COMP\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Applicants are required to have a Master\u2019s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications. Previous teaching experience in the subject area is not required but will be considered an asset. \u00a0The CI stipend is $7,177 per 0.5 credit course.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Applications should be sent to the School of Computer Science, at SCSApplication@cunet.carleton.ca<\/a>.\u00a0 As per article 15.3 of the current CUPE 4600\u20132 Collective Agreement<\/a>, applicants are required to submit an up-to-date CV that includes a complete listing of all courses taught within the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 bargaining unit at Carleton University; evidence of teaching competence including previous teaching evaluations at Carleton or at another institution; contact information for two references; and a Contract Instructor Application Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
