Jaworski, PhD<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Director, Operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty of Science<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carleton University<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"notice-to-51xx-wing-occupants\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Notice to&nbsp;51xx Wing Occupants<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Herzberg Building \u2013 5th Floor Mechanical &amp; Electrical Upgrades (Occupant Preparation Notice)<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the upcoming\u202f<b>Herzberg 5th Floor Mechanical &amp; Electrical Upgrades<\/b>, construction work will soon begin in your area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To&nbsp;facilitate&nbsp;this work, all furniture and office contents will be temporarily removed from individual offices. These items will be&nbsp;relocated&nbsp;to an off-site storage facility for the duration of the construction period and returned once work is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Key Dates<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><p role=\"presentation\"><b>Week of April 20:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Pre-work will\u00a0commence\u00a0in the 4th and 5th floor mechanical rooms. There will be periodic minimal noise isolated to these areas.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Removal of hallway bulletin boards,\u00a0pictures\u00a0and fixtures<\/p><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\"><b>April 27:<\/b>\u202fDeadline for all offices to be fully packed and\u00a0prepared\u202ffor\u00a0the move<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\"><b>Beginning April 27:<\/b>\u202fOffice contents move (over a five-day period)<\/p><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Occupant Responsibilities &amp; Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Occupants\u00a0are responsible for\u00a0packing the contents of their own offices.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Please ensure your office is fully packed and ready by Monday, April 27.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">All items will be stored off-site and will not be accessible during the storage period.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">All file cabinets must be completely emptied prior to the move.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Offices and rooms must be fully cleared; no items are to be left behind.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">All wall-mounted items (e.g., posters, pictures, decorations) must be removed in advance.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Please remove all posters, pictures, and\u00a0similar items\u00a0from the hallways.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">All items must be securely packed in boxes or bins in good condition.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Boxes must be clearly labeled with the room number and name. Labels will be\u00a0provided\u00a0to each office or room by the moving company.<\/p><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Loose items will not be moved; all contents must be properly packed.<\/p><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Important Notes<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><br><p role=\"presentation\">Boxes handled by movers must not\u00a0contain\u00a0personal items.
