This guide shows you how to set up a folder which will be shared between your host machine and your guest machine. For more information on transferring files between virtual machines, click here<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Setting Up the Shared Folder<\/h3>\n
    \n
  1. Select the guest machine you wish to share files with<\/li>\n
  2. Click Settings > Shared Folders<\/em><\/li>\n
  3. Right-click and select Add Shared Folder <\/em>and use the following settings:
    \n

    Folder Path:<\/strong> Click the dropdown arrow, select Other<\/strong>, and navigate to the folder you would like to share<\/em>
    \nFolder Name:<\/strong> Anything to identify it on the guest machine<\/em>
    \nRead-Only:<\/strong> Unchecked (Checked, if you are exclusively pulling files from the host<\/strong>)
    \nAuto-Mount:<\/strong> Checked
    \nMount Point:<\/strong> Leave blank <\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n
