Then apply for a&nbsp;Discovery Challenge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hosted by the Discovery Centre,&nbsp;Discovery Challenges&nbsp;are&nbsp;short-term,&nbsp;virtual&nbsp;mini-projects&nbsp;(maximum 6-8 hours of work) that count toward your&nbsp;co-curricular record. Challenges are proposed by Carleton staff, faculty, and recognized student groups (e.g., CUSA clubs &amp; societies) who are looking for fresh, student perspectives. See&nbsp;here&nbsp;for an idea of what Discovery Challenges might look like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>New Discovery Challenges will be posted every month.&nbsp;Find open Discovery Challenges on the&nbsp;volunteer job board in&nbsp;mySuccess&nbsp;(via Carleton Central).&nbsp;The first round of Discovery Challenges will be&nbsp;available on&nbsp;Monday, November 23. Submissions via Riipen are&nbsp;due by&nbsp;Friday, December 18&nbsp;(see the mySuccess job post for details on accessing Riipen). When you\u2019re done the project, complete&nbsp;this form&nbsp;to automatically get CCR credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some Discovery Challenges limit the number of students who can participate, so don\u2019t wait to participate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more about Discovery Challenges&nbsp;here.&nbsp;For details on completing Challenges, see&nbsp;here.
