Clair Switzer holds the position of (Acting) Institute Administrator in the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies. She has been a member of the non-Academic staff at Carleton University since 2007, holding positions in Financial Services, Advancement, MacOdrum Library and academic administration in FASS. Prior to her move to Carleton, Clair was in hospitality management in Ottawa. Interested in innovation and the experience of learning, Clair has been a part of the Supervisory Development Series, acted as a consultant (Accounts Payable) and pilot user of the eshop project and was a member of the working group in the development of the FACTS program through Financial Services. As a part-time student, Clair holds third year standing in B.A. Law, Honours in Business Law. She has been elected to the Board of Governors for a three-year term ending June 30, 2018.
