Mr. Craig, P.Eng. ICD.D, is President of Dale Craig & Associates Limited, a strategic consulting firm. He retired in 2014 from J.L. Richards & Associates Limited, Consulting Engineers, Architects & Planners where he spent 44 years, the last 24 in roles as President, CEO and most recently Chairman. He is a graduate of Carleton University’s engineering program and has served on the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering Advisory Committee. He served two terms on the Board of the Ottawa Convention Centre, acting as Chair of the Redevelopment Committee which was responsible for managing the design and construction of their award winning $190M facility. Dale is currently a Board Member of Hydro Ottawa Holdings Inc. and Chair of their Strategic Investments Oversight Committee as well as a member of the Governance and Management Resources Committee. In a previous term on the HOHI Board, he was Chair of Energy Ottawa. Dale is also currently on an Advisory Board for PB Infrastructure Services and has just completed his term on the Board of CPCS Transcom. He has been Chair of the Engineering Division of the Ottawa United Way; Chair of the Consulting Engineers of Ontario; Vice Chair of the Association of Canadian Engineering Companies (two terms); a Founding Patron of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution and a Founding Member of the National Steering Committee on Innovation in Construction.
Mr. Craig has been elected to the Board of Governors for a second three year term ending on June 30, 2019.
