It fights to protect Canada&#8217;s public social programs, natural resource heritage and democratic decision-making practices It also advocates for fair trade and sustainable economic policies and promotes a peacekeeping role for Canada&#8217;s Armed Forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Barlow also chairs the board of Washington-based Food and Water Watch, is an executive member of the San Francisco-based International Forum onGlobalization and is a councillor with the Hamburg-based World Future Council Her Carleton honorary degree will be the 10th she&#8217;s received.
