Note that to maintain their position on Senate, Contract Instructors must continue to teach at least 0.5 credits in each academic year of service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carleton University Senate is the highest academic authority of the university, responsible for decisions of significant importance to students and faculty. Regular work of Senate includes approving new programs and revised curricula, establishing regulations concerning students\u2019 academic work, and awarding degrees and scholarships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that nominations will officially close at 4:00 pm on Friday August 28.
