This trip focuses on learning through hands-on fieldwork. Students with an interest in environmental studies, conversation and sciences should consider this experience.

The group will explore how modern waste management practices has impacted small and rural communities in Guatemala and learn what the locals are doing to manage an influx of non-biodegradable waste.

|1:00 pm||Tree planting
The group will visit an area affected by commercial deforestation and contribute to restoration through tree planting.

Students will be living with a local family in San Antonio.
