Team Advisors

Team Advisors coordinate various aspects of the program including recruitment and team selection, service site arrangements, as well as preparing the team to serve, leading structured reflection activities and evaluating the program. They are positive role models and advisors for student participants; supporting students in their learning and personal development by providing guidance and feedback.

Individuals interested in becoming a Team Advisor must have the ability to work well with a diverse community, a commitment to service, the ability to be flexible, and the ability to facilitate discussions with a group of students. Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills for building positive relationships with students, community members, and partner organizations are necessary.

Faculty, staff and graduate students interested in being involved in the ASB program are encouraged to apply to be Team Advisors! Please contact csl@carleton.ca if you are interested.
