ASB Awards and Sponsorship
In support of ASB, the Student Experience Office (SEO) partners with offices and departments across campus to offer awards to a variety of student groups. Please review the awards below to determine your eligibility.
Faculty Sponsorship
Students studying in any of Carleton University’s faculties (Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and Design, Public Affairs, Science, and the Sprott School of Business) have access to faculty sponsorship. Each faculty generously provides guaranteed sponsorship of up to $1,000. Please email asb@carleton.ca to confirm how much funding you will receive, based on your faculty.
President’s Alternative Spring Break Award
Provided annually on the recommendation of the Student Experience Office, the President’s Alternative Spring Break Award is awarded to up to students on the basis of financial need and demonstrated commitment to community service and community outreach. Further details will be provided to successful ASB applicants.
Residence Life Sponsorship
Housing and Residence Life Services generously offers up to $300 in financial sponsorship to eligible ASB participants living in residence at the time of the program. To be eligible for sponsorship, students must attend an information session and commit to sharing their learning with members of the department. Further details will be provided to successful ASB applicants.
Student Life Awards
The Student Life Awards are awards that have been established by Carleton University Alumni and stakeholders and serve the purpose of recognizing students for their significant and impactful contributions to the Carleton community. Awards range from $500 – $4,000. Applications for the 2023/2024 Student Life Awards will open in October.
