Overview

In this 1 hour crash course presentation, the Queer Dating Coach is going to flip traditional dating advice on it’s head. You’ll get Ariella’s top tips for figuring out what you’re looking for in the dating pool, what standards we should really be paying attention to, how to date, and why we do it in the first place. Though it’s made with LGBTQIA+ folks in mind, this workshop is for anyone who has ever dated or wants to date in the future. After the presentation we’ll have Q & A time where you can get your own dating questions answered from the Queer Dating Coach herself!

Speaker Spotlight: Ariella Serur

Ariella Serur HeadshotQueer Dating Coach, Ariella Serur, is on a mission to disrupt traditional dating advice and transform the dating pool into one we enthusiastically want to jump into.

In her practice, she helps kind, queer folks navigate the dating landscape so they have the courage to go after what they want in dating and in life, without feeling overwhelmed or exhausted. If you want to learn how to date, or date better, she’ll help you understand what you want and how to talk about it, so dating becomes an enjoyable process and satiating part of your personal growth journey.

Ariella is a Certified Life Coach and is currently receiving a Graduate Advanced Certificate from Columbia University’s School of Psychology in Sexuality, Women, and Gender with a concentration in LGBTQ Issues.

What to Expect

  • Actively participate in an interactive Zoom webinar about dating in the Queer community
  • Meet and interact with other students at Carleton
  • May be encouraged to turn your camera on and unmute at some points during the event
