CU 1001 Experience Days

Program Description

CU 1001 Experience Days provide a complimentary in-person addition to the CU 1001 course offering students, parents and guests with the opportunity to attend in-person presentations and receive tours of Carleton’s beautiful campus led by upper year students.

Participation Type

This program is highly encouraged for students and guests to support with the transition to Carleton and gain valuable knowledge about the campus community and resources available.  Must be registered with CU 1001 to gain access.

Dates

CU 1001 Experience Days will take place on the following dates in July and August 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

  • Friday, July 29th
  • Friday, August 5th
  • Saturday, August 6th
  • Friday, August 12th
  • Saturday, August 13th
  • Friday, August 19th

Cost

This is a free program available for new Carleton Students.

Registration for CU 1001 Experience Days can be found in the CU 1001 Brightspace Course. Only students who are registered for CU 1001 are able to register and attend these CU 1001 Experience Days. (Brightspace Course launches June 27, 2022).

Fall Orientation
The program focuses on helping students adapt socially, academically, and culturally to Carleton and the Ravens community through a week full of fun activities during the start of September.

CU 1001 – Your Start to Student Life at Carleton
A free online bundled mini course experience that provides new students with a focused introduction to the Carleton community and prepares you for your journey as a Raven.

Academic Orientation Day
An afternoon of events specific to each student’s faculty and department taking place September 6, 2022.
