Monkeypox Vaccination Clinic

Description: Ottawa Public Health is offering a walk-in Monkeypox Vaccination Clinic on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Health and Counselling Services in the Carleton Technology Training Centre. The clinic is open to Carleton students, staff and faculty, including contract staff who are eligible in Ottawa. Appointments are not required.

Learn to Meditate Workshop

12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Description: Most of us would appreciate more peace and harmony in our lives. Mindfulness meditation is an excellent way to begin. The simple yet profound practice of meditation is easy to learn. This basic meditation class is for beginners, as well as anyone who would like to refresh their understanding of the meditation technique. It is ecumenical, and all are very welcome, regardless of their background. The class will be led by the Spirituality Centre’s Buddhist chaplain, Dr. Colin Cordner, Director of the Ottawa Shambhala Centre.

Transitional Anxiety and How to Cope Workshop
