Carleton Ravens – we’re ready for your return!
This fall, we’re welcoming our vibrant community of Ravens back to campus in style with the launch of our Return of the Ravens program.
Return of the Ravens features a variety of events and initiatives to help you build your network, make connections, and become more familiar with campus services and facilities.
The program is open to all students and there is no cost to participate. Visit the welcome back tents during the first two weeks to ask questions, register for a campus tour or get some awesome Carleton swag.

Learn to Meditate Workshop
12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Description: Most of us would appreciate more peace and harmony in our lives. Mindfulness meditation is an excellent way to begin. The simple yet profound practice of meditation is easy to learn. This basic meditation class is for beginners, as well as anyone who would like to refresh their understanding of the meditation technique. It is ecumenical, and all are very welcome, regardless of their background. The class will be led by the Spirituality Centre’s Buddhist chaplain, Dr. Colin Cordner, Director of the Ottawa Shambhala Centre.

Description: During the Student Open House session, students can ask questions and learn about the academic resources that can help them work toward achieving their academic goals. Transitional Anxiety and How to Cope Workshop

Description: The transition to in-person studies after two years of virtual learning can make some students feel a sense of uncertainty and anxiety. In this workshop, students will learn skills and coping strategies to facilitate this transition, ease discomfort, and learn ways to recognize when additional support may be helpful. COVID-19 Booster Clinic
