DESCRIPTION:Carleton University Relay for Life is a year-long campaign encouraging the Carleton community to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. It culminates in an annual event where members of the Ottawa and Carleton community come together to support those impacted by cancer and celebrate their philanthropic achievements with food, entertainment, interactive activities, and inspirational speakers. Over the past ten years, Carleton University’s Relay for Life event has managed to raise over $1,000,000 for cancer research making it one of the largest post-secondary events in Canada.
