Welcome to a new year at Carleton University and to the start of Umoja’s Student Success Series. Are you in your first year and trying to handle adjusting to university? Are you returning for another year and want to improve your academic skills? Through this Academic Writing and Managing Academic Stress workshop you will be provided with information on how to maximize the potential of your Writing and Communication skills, alongside how Coping Mechanisms, and strategies to handle the stress of Academic Life.

This event is open to Carleton University Students who identify as African, Caribbean and Black from any Faculty or Year of Study. The event will be in person and on campus.
