University Survival Guide



University Survival Guide 2: Funding. Are you going into post-secondary? How should you be paying for your education? Where should you look for scholarship, grant, and bursary opportunities? How do you apply for a scholarship? Come and get your questions answered about all things funding in a safe environment catered to you by Black university students. Through an online presentation and a scholarship application demonstration, this chapter will provide you with tips for how to find and apply to scholarships that can fund your post-secondary education.



Scoring in the Post



Going into post-secondary next fall? Curious about picking a school, the application process, funding, academics, or what it’s like to be a university student? Just need to vent? Get all your questions answered and speak your mind in a safe space catered to you by a Black university student. The Scoring in the Post Q&amp;A sessions will help you power through the transition into post-secondary.

This is a combined event between the University Survival Guide: Funding event on October 5th and Scoring in the Post on October 18th.




This event is open to anyone, especially prospective Carleton students from the OCDSB and OCSB school boards. The event will be hosted online.
