{"id":36605,"date":"2026-05-22T14:00:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-22T18:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/seo\/?post_type=cu_description&#038;p=36605"},"modified":"2026-05-22T14:00:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T18:00:18","slug":"fundraising","status":"publish","type":"cu_description","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/seo\/description\/fundraising\/","title":{"rendered":"Fundraising"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p>As outlined in the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/2021\/03\/Space-Booking-and-Use-Policy-2026.pdf\">Space Booking and Use Policy<\/a>, fundraising activities are not permitted in university-managed spaces without prior approval in accordance with the Commercial and Supplemental Revenue-Generating Activities Policy. All requests for fundraising activities from student organizations or individuals must be submitted a<br>minimum of 21 days prior to the proposed activity and directed to the Director of Student Life for<br>review and authorization before any fundraising activity can occur. This includes bake sales, event ticket sales, silent auctions and any other method of fundraising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>External parties are not permitted to perform fundraising activities in university managed spaces.
