The official Opening Ceremony for CU Pride Festival 2023!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us on Tuesday, October 10th as we officially launch CU Pride Festival 2023 with the raising of the Pride Flag during the Opening Ceremony! <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/span>The flag will be raised on Library Road, beside the Carleton University Pride Crosswalk, outside of Azrieli Theatre.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/span>As we raise the Pride Flag, we will be joined by Sadie Messines Tobias, a 2 Spirited Elder of the Golden Eagle Clan, who will provide a land acknowledgement and opening prayer, along with Theo Paradis of the Bear Clan, who will provide drumming and singing for the flag raising.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/span>We will also be hearing from community leaders such as Government Officials, Dr. Pauline Rankin, and the <\/span>Gender and Sexuality Resource Centre<\/span><\/a> (GSRC) Coordinators. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/span>This event is open to everyone (students, staff, faculty, alumni, community members etc.).<\/span> <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
