For many Black students, accessing professional hair care that affirms their texture, culture, and identity isn’t just expensive, and it can feel impossible. Specialized Black hair styling often costs hundreds of dollars, creating a barrier that no student should have to navigate alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This March, we’re bringing the salon to campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Pop-Up Black Hair Salon is a one-day event offering Black students at Carleton access to skilled stylists and a full range of culturally affirming services. All services are provided at subsidized student rates made possible through the support of our campus partners and community sponsors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
