He is also a member of the Canadian Phlebotomy Technicians Group (CPTG) Inc, and a fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH). He has a background in Nursing and Public Health and holds a PhD in Population Health from the University of Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"elementToProof\">Amos\u2019 research broadly focuses on issues concerning infectious disease epidemiology, global health research, systematic reviews, and meta-analysis &#8211; more specifically, his work aims at developing predictive models in mechanisms by which socio-economic factors influence the control of infectious diseases like HIV\/AIDS, in developing economies. At the CO-CREAT lab, Amos currently leads a project aimed at strengthening community capacity for HIV prevention and care among African, Caribbean and Black women in Ontario.
