\n Student Group Accreditation\n <\/h1>\n \n \n <\/header>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n

Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Student organizations that wish to be accredited through the university to become an Accredited Campus Group or Academic Society must submit the following items to Student Affairs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A completed and signed Accreditation Application Form<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A copy of their most current constitution;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Submit a minimum of ten (10) student signatures along with their printed names and student numbers of students who are supportive of the organization being accredited.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If your organization was accredited last year<\/strong>, then your organization must submit the Accreditation Renewal Form<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note: Student organizations cannot be accredited under this policy and certified under the CUSA clubs<\/a> process. Only one process can be utilized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Deadline for Accreditation is September 30th annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Benefits of Becoming an Accredited Organization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Student organizations that are accredited by the university or certified by CUSA are accorded the following benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. Exclusive use of the university’s name subject to regulations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Ability to book space subject to the Space Booking Request<\/a> process;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Right to hold events in accordance with university policies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Use of campus facilities for the solicitation of memberships<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Ability to apply to the CUx Experience Fund<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
