We&nbsp;advise&nbsp;that groups begin their booking process&nbsp;<strong>at least one month in advance<\/strong><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong>The Office of Risk Management requires that assessments&nbsp;be&nbsp;submitted&nbsp;no less than 14 business days prior to the event&nbsp;to be considered.&nbsp;It is the group\u2019s responsibility to&nbsp;comply with&nbsp;the Risk Management process, and an event may not&nbsp;proceed&nbsp;without successful approval being granted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/sarms.carleton.ca\/event-risk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Risk Management Form<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>For any inquiries regarding the Risk Management process, please contact&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"mailto:risk@carleton.ca\"><em>risk@carleton.ca<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"new-fundraisers-carc-approval\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">NEW &#8211; Fundraisers &amp; CARC Approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/2021\/03\/Space-Booking-and-Use-Policy-2026.pdf\">Space Booking and Use Policy,<\/a> fundraising activities are not permitted in university-managed spaces without prior approval in accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/Commercial-and-Supplemental-Revenue-Generating-Activities-Policy.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Commercial and Supplemental Revenue-Generating Activities Policy. <\/a>All requests for fundraising activities from student organizations or individuals must be submitted a<br><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">minimum of 21 days prior to the proposed activity<\/strong> and directed to the <a href=\"mailto:karenspeers@cunet.carleton.ca\" type=\"mailto\" id=\"mailto:karenspeers@cunet.carleton.ca\">Director of Student Life <\/a>for<br>review and authorization before any fundraising activity can occur. Please note your submission must include event details, organizations for which you are fundraising for and how you plan to collect funds (<strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">note must be a formal POS system, no e-transfers or cash will be approved<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fundraising activities in the Galleria will <strong>only be permitted on select market dates<\/strong> below during the academic year for all student groups. &nbsp;Further details including a sign up form will be available before the start of the fall term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thursday November 12<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday January 28<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday March 25<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are the dates that the CARC review committee is scheduled to meet during the academic year. Please make note of the dates and have your activity submitted via the form below a minimum of 5 business days prior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>August 18th, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 15th, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>October 20th, 2026 (last meeting to submit activities for November 12th market)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 17th, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>December 15th, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>January 19th, 2027 (last meeting to submit activities for January 28th market)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>February 16th, 2027<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>March 16th, 2027 (last meeting to submit activities for March 25th market)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/seo\/carc-activity-submission-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CARC Submission Form<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"galleria-booking-information\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Galleria Booking Information <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submit booking requests to the Student Experience Office at least 14 business days prior to your event to guarantee consideration.<\/strong>&nbsp;Where further correspondence is necessary for clarification or request adjustments, this process will be delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please review the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/seo\/galleria-booking-guidelines\/\">Galleria Booking Guidelines<\/a> for important information regarding your booking. Please ensure that you are providing us with adequate information when completing your booking request. Your Event Details should include an exhaustive list of any and all activities taking place during your event as well as a full list of items, guest speakers, and VIPs, is applicable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By booking space, you agree to adhere to the regulations in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/158\/2021\/03\/Space-Booking-and-Use-Policy-2026.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Space Booking and Use Policy <\/a>as well as all other&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/secretariat\/policies\/\">university policies<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note the booking request form is currently closed and will open on August 1st 2026 for the 2026\/2027 academic year.
