Make History with Carleton University at Capital Pride 2023!<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In solidarity with our 2SLGBTQ+ community, Carleton is more than happy to announce that we will be marching at this year’s Capital Pride Parade in Ottawa! Make history with us as we are the first university in Ottawa to participate in Capital Pride. This is our inaugural Capital Pride Parade and we would be proud to have you celebrate with us. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can participate by marching in the parade contingent or by joining our static cheering section along the parade route. Capital Pride will be happening on Sunday, August 27th, 2023 with the parade starting at 1 pm for those who plan on attending the static cheering section. For those marching in the contingent, our call time will be at 11:30 am. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Capital Pride event is one that shouldn\u2019t be missed and is loved by the 2SLGBTQ+ community along with allies in the Capital region. With showings from so many supportive partners this event will be exciting and engaging and being the first one for Carleton, a chance to make history. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
