Service Cost<\/h2>\n

The Distance Exam Service charges an administration fee for each assessment arranged through the service. The fee is $107.25 for students writing in Canada and $192.00 for students writing internationally. This fee will be added to your student account at the end of the term.<\/p>\n

Students writing in person at a testing centre may also be required to pay a separate proctoring fee directly to the testing centre. This fee is not included in the Distance Exam Service administration fee.<\/p>\n

Students writing internationally who complete their exam online using our e-Proctoring solution; CoMaS,<\/a> will be charged the domestic administration fee of $107.25 per assessment.<\/p>\n

Please note that the above fee applies to both Distance\/off-campus exams and Deferred Final off-campus exams. All fees are effective from May 1, 2026.<\/em><\/p>\n

Important<\/h3>\n

For an in-person distance exam, you may have to pay two separate fees:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The Distance Exam Service fee, charged to your student account.<\/li>\n
  2. The testing centre\u2019s proctoring fee, paid directly to the testing centre before the exam date.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The testing centre\u2019s fee does not replace or include the Distance Exam Service fee. Fees are charged per assessment. For example, if the Distance Exam Service arranges both a midterm and a final exam, the service fee will be charged twice.<\/p>\n

    One in-person exam in Canada<\/em>

    Two in-person exams in Canada<\/em>
    \nDistance Exam Service fee: $107.25 \u00d7 2 = $214.50<\/em>
    \nTesting-centre fees: charged separately by the testing centre<\/em><\/p>\n

    Late application fee<\/h3>\n

    Late applications may be considered but can result in the application being declined. If approved, a $26 late application fee applies. Applications received less than TWO WEEKS prior to the scheduled exam will not<\/u><\/strong> be processed.<\/p>\n

    Late cancelation fees<\/h3>\n

    Students who wish to cancel their distance exam application must Email us<\/a> to to request the cancellation.<\/p>\n

    If the cancellation is received more than 7 days<\/strong> before the exam date, no fee will be charged. Cancellations received within 7 days<\/strong> of the exam date will be charged a $26<\/strong> fee. Cancellations made on the day of the exam, or after the exam date, will be charged the full distance exam fee.<\/p>\n

    Please note that if you no longer plan to write your exam through Distance Exam Service, no longer need the service, or have dropped the course, you must Email us<\/a> to\u00a0cancel your application. If we do not receive a cancellation request, the full distance exam service fee will be charged to your student account.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
