The Directors of the SIM Social Work Research Lab, Sarah Todd and Kenta Asakura have been recognized as exemplary teachers<\/strong> by Carleton University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Professor Todd received the Provost\u2019s Fellowship in Teaching Award<\/a> for her leadership and commitment to teaching and learning. The award recognizes educators \u201cdedicated to sustained excellence in teaching, scholarship of teaching and the continual development of teaching.\u201d Recipients are also designated as Carleton University Teaching Fellows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assistant Professor Asakura was awarded this year\u2019s New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award<\/a>, which \u201crecognizes those new faculty members who underscore Carleton\u2019s commitment to teaching excellence and innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
