This special issue is the first of its kind to canvas contemporary scholarly works on simulation in advancing our professional commitment to clinical social work education and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we spotlight the article <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10615-020-00772-x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Using Simulation as an Investigative Methodology in Researching Competencies of Clinical Social Work Practice: A Scoping Review<\/em><\/a>. This article features several members of the Lab including Lab Director <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/kenta-asakura-director\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kenta Asakura<\/a>, Research Assistants <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/ruxi-gheorghe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ruxi Gheorghe<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/stephanie-borgen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stephanie Borgen<\/a>, and Research Associate <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/karen-sewell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Karen Sewell<\/a>. In this piece, the authors conduct a scoping review to synthesize current literature that used simulation as an investigative methodology in researching practice competencies in clinical social work.
