This special issue is the first of its kind to canvas contemporary scholarly works on simulation in advancing our professional commitment to clinical social work education and practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This week, we spotlight the article <a href=\"https:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10615-020-00785-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Decision-Making and Relationship Competence When Reporting Suspected Physical Abuse and Child Neglect: An Objective Structured Clinical Evaluation<\/em><\/a>, featuring Lab Affiliates <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/lea-tufford\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lea Tufford<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/barbara-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Barbara Lee<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/simlab\/simlab\/people\/marion-bogo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Marion Bogo<\/a>. In this piece, the authors determine the decision-making factors and relationship repair strategies of social work students and practitioners when facing a suspicion of child abuse and neglect.
