To All Members of the Carleton Community,<\/p>\n

Do you care passionately about Carleton\u2019s future? Are you willing to invest your time in developing a renewed vision for Carleton? If so, consider applying to join the Strategic Integrated Planning Task Force by emailing: StrategicPlan@carleton.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Higher education continues to change \u2013 in fact, the pace of change is accelerating \u2013 and we must ask ourselves: What must we do now in order to be the best Carleton University that we can be in the next five to 10 years?<\/p>\n

Carleton has reached the end of its current Strategic Integrated Plan (2013-2018) called \u201cCollaboration, Leadership and Resilience: Sustainable Communities \u2013 Global Prosperity.\u201d The time has come to engage our community in a broad consultative process towards designing our next Strategic Integrated Plan (SIP).<\/p>\n

To develop this plan, a task force of 12 to 15 people \u2013 the Carleton University Strategic Integrated Planning Task Force \u2013 will be constituted.<\/p>\n

Members of the SIP Task Force will be broadly representative of the Carleton community. Representation will include members of faculty, staff and student bodies with the aim of having a variety of viewpoints and constituencies present.<\/p>\n

Candidates may be nominated or self-nominate for membership by submitting a one-paragraph statement outlining their interest in joining the SIP Task Force to StrategicPlan@carleton.ca<\/a>. Nominations are due Aug.\u00a027, 2019.<\/p>\n

Additional details, including the task force\u2019s mandate and terms, are available on the Strategic Integrated Planning website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
