Join us for the first instalment of our occasional research series Afterwords, where COMS faculty and students share a behind-the-scenes look at recently published scholarship. This time, we’ll be discussing “All In: Derivative and Financialization in Sports Betting” by Liam Young and Miranda Brady’s article, “‘I Think the Men Are Behind It’: Reproductive Labour and the Horror of Second Wave Feminism,” which has been revised for inclusion in her forthcoming monograph, Mother Trouble.
Please come having read both articles. The authors will present for 15 minutes each, allowing 30 minutes for questions and discussion. After the event, we will have an additional 30 minute for social time and further, informal discussion.
