Our research lab aspires to provide a platform and a means for the marginalized to learn about how to leverage digital technologies and alternative media for civic engagement and public participation. We want to help generate alternative narratives about social movements, telling stories and reporting on new research.

We would like invite you to attend our launch to learn more about the kinds of research we’ve been engaging in and how we’d like to make a difference. We’re excited to present a peek at our media lab facilities, offer some demonstrations of the kinds of research we’ve been engaging in, and have a line up of short talks/performances which we hope you’ll find interesting and informative. Complimentary refreshments are provided.

Come join us and please RSVP here.

Thank you and hope to see you there.

Your hosts,

Merlyna Lim (Canada Research Chair in Digital Media and Global Network Society and ALiGN Media Lab Founder)
