Rebecca Weston

Biography

Rebecca, more commonly known as Becca, is joining the Master of Journalism program after recently graduating her Bachelor of Journalism with the class of 2022 at Carleton. Growing up in a small town, Rebecca has always had a strong connection with nature and has been taught to care for our environment. This, and her love for social justice, is what drives Rebecca’s reporting as she wants to make people aware of important local stories at a larger level. She has always had a passion for storytelling and has worked with various news organizations in Ontario such as Caledon Citizen, Windsor Star, and The Globe and Mail.

In her free time, Rebecca spends hours in the kitchen creating new recipes or outside having fun in nature.
