Biography

MA (Political Studies), Queen’s University; BSocSc (Political Science), University of Ottawa

Marc-André always knew he would somehow find his way to journalism. He holds an MA in Political Studies from Queen’s University, where he explored his longstanding interest in identity politics and migration. He has served in various roles in the federal public service, most recently as Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s lead policy analyst on refugee integration. A photographer, his work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler, group exhibitions, as well as online. For as long as he can remember, Marc-André has valued journalism for its potential to foster and strengthen public debate. He is eager to play his part in informing those discussions.
