Biography

Sarah Harney is a PhD candidate. Her research focuses on historical and contemporary surveillance technologies. Her dissertation project will examine how colonial surveillance of Indigenous communities in Canada has played a role in creating and maintaining the socio-political power structures of settler colonialism, and how it is resisted.
