Kajal Dhaneshwari

Biography

Born in India, Kajal immigrated to Canada in 2010. Since childhood, Kajal has been passionate about living a lifestyle in front of the camera. She has an interest in writing, and political and current affairs. As a youth council member, Kajal had the pleasure of meeting the nation’s PM—Mr. Justin Trudeau. She brought her interests together to pursue a degree in Bachelor of Communication with a Journalism major from MacEwan University (2021).

During her bachelor’s degree, Kajal freelanced as a lifestyle and commercial model and competed nationally in pageants. As a passionate folk & Bollywood dancer, Kajal proudly organized an event, in 2021, to celebrate Navratri—her absolute favorite festival, with her community.

With her previous experience as a Multimedia Reporter for La Nouvelle Beaumont News and Devon Dispatch newspaper, Kajal has gained a wealth of experience in print media. Now, it’s her turn to take over broadcast media.
