Kevin spent the past five years as an audio producer at Accessible Media Inc (AMI) – a non-profit national broadcaster serving Canadians who are blind or partially sighted. Most recently he was the senior producer of AMI’s live daily morning show.
Kevin did freelance work before joining AMI, with work published or broadcast for This Magazine, the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, The Current (CBC), the Ontario College of Teachers magazine, and Investment Executive newspaper.
Kevin is returning to school to focus on economic reporting and analysis. Specifically, how the decisions made by politicians and business executives filter through to the day-to-day lives of people from marginalized communities. He plans to report on the various government social assistance programs that have been created or expanded during the pandemic.
Kevin was born in Singapore and has spent most of his life in Canada, but his strongest allegiance is to the Toronto Raptors.
