Tanya Kirnishni

Biography

B.A. History and English Literature, McGill University

Tanya is passionate about arts, culture, history and all the ways in which the three intersect. Born in Ukraine and raised in Ottawa, Tanya has developed a strong interest in cultural diversity, which she continues to explore through her travels. While at McGill University, Tanya pursued her love of writing to become the Editor-in-Chief for The VEG Literary Magazine. Tanya has recently interned with Metro Ottawa, and her articles, ranging in coverage from political protests to arts and entertainment, have appeared both in print and online. She is also an avid blogger and photographer with her own website.
