Curtis Panke

Biography

BA Hon (English), University of Toronto

Curtis completed his Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto in 2014 obtaining a double major in English and American Studies. While at U of T, Curtis used his passion and knowledge of sports as Sports Editor of The Mike, the student newspaper of St. Michael’s College. Following his passion for sports journalism he also became a contributing writer to a startup sports news website, SportsEh that profiled Canadian and high school athletes. When Curtis left SportsEh he was the leading contributor for the website. Immediately upon graduation Curtis completed a public relations internship with the OHL’s Mississauga Steelheads writing player profiles and special interest articles, as well as updating the Steelheads’ website. One of Curtis’ personal highlights was having the opportunity to interview NHL alumni: Curtis Joseph, Dave Andreychuk, and Doug Gilmour.
