Nasreen’s dissertation, supported by The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, examines the experiences of racialized and Indigenous women creating their own digital tools and online campaigns to end violence against women in Canada. She is a researcher and blogger for the ALiGN Media Lab and she also serves as Vice-Chair for the Women’s Initiatives for Safer Environments (WISE) non-profit organization in Ottawa.
