Biography

Shelley Page is a multiple-award winning non-fiction writer and editor with 25 years’ experience as a journalist at three news organizations. She has a special interest in long-form journalism, with a focus on women’s issues, health and science.

A three-time winner of the National Newspaper Award—for long features, political reporting and short features—she’s also a three-time winner of the Canadian Science Writers Award, and earned the top investigative prize from the Canadian Association of Journalists.

Shelley earned her Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton (a really long time ago) and is poised to complete a master’s degree from her alma mater, having interviewed 30+ journalists for her thesis about the challenges of working with invisible disability, as she has throughout her career.
