Maria-Antonia Urso

Biography

Maria-Antonia graduated with a Rhetoric, Writing, and Communications degree from the University of Winnipeg. Her research interests include religion and media, pandemic discourse, and communication technology.

Maria-Antonia’s thesis explores the Bible as a form of technology that the Catholic Church uses to communicate consistent messaging, locking them into a path dependency. This combines canonical communication theories with infrastructure, religious, and political science studies.
