is where Madison Eldridge’s reporting career was born. As a recent graduate of Carleton University’s Bachelor of Journalism and Humanities program, Madison has worked with communities within the city to produce impactful stories. With a special interest in community and culture, she has produced stories surrounding the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, safe consumption and Indigenous cultures. She has since expanded her scope from Ottawa, building connections in Akwesasne, Winnipeg and Uganda.<\/p>\n<p>Madison enjoys reading, exploring new places and adventuring in nature. Her work is driven by a passion to learn from others and uplift voices that have been underrepresented. She has been published in\u00a0<em>The Narwhal,\u00a0<\/em>interned with<em>\u00a0CBC Manitoba\u00a0<\/em>and volunteered with\u00a0<em>Farm Radio International\u00a0<\/em>to gain experience as a multiplatform journalist. Video is her craft of choice. She appreciates the opportunities for creativity and expression that can be captured through a lens.
