the University of Waterloo in 2025. Throughout her undergrad, she took courses in many different fields, exploring her interests in research and writing. These learning opportunities made her aware of the broader public’s limited access to factual and academic research, in both its language and physical presentation. This realization inspired Victoria to want to create accessible information and rhetorical tools, while raising awareness on the increased risk to misinformation. She hopes to bring together her passion on this topic and her interest in Journalism to help create a healthier information ecosystem within the media. Victoria is excited to join the Master of Journalism program at Carleton in the coming fall to expand her skills and learn more about the field.<\/p>\n<p>In her free time Victoria can be found reading a book in a quiet spot with a cup of coffee, out on a walk with her dog, or at a cafe with friends.
