Polytechnic\u2019s Bachelor of Journalism program. His reporting has focused on protest movements, international affairs, and trade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;\">His experience includes work with The Globe and Mail, CBC, and BNN Bloomberg. His journalism career began with a student reporting trip to cover the New Hampshire presidential primaries. He later travelled to New York to report on the Columbia University encampment as part of The Globe and Mail\u2019s coverage of the U.S. college-campus protest movement. He has since contributed reporting on the Democratic National Convention and the election of New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;\">At CBC, Jack was the first intern with the Visual Investigations Unit, where he contributed to stories using open-source investigative techniques. As an intern with The Globe and Mail\u2019s Report on Business, he reported on trade tensions within the G7 following the election of U.S. President Donald Trump.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\" style=\"font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Segoe UI',sans-serif; color: black;\">When he is not chasing stories or building data sheets, he enjoys spending time with his two huskies, Loki and Kyrie.
