and raised in New Delhi, India, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, in 2025. Growing up at the intersection of diverse cultures and communities along with my field of study shaped the way I see the world and developed a perspective that has carried directly into my work. Through community development roles with non-profits in both India and Canada, I discovered my passion for storytelling rooted in community welfare and came to see journalism as a vital tool for illuminating the issues that matter most.<\/p>\n<p>My interest in writing and travel began early. As a high school student, I traveled independently to document the stories of Tibetan immigrants, an experience that shaped my approach to journalism ever since.
