Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>B\u00e1rbara was born and raised in Brazil. She has always enjoyed writing and that is the reason why she chose to pursue a career in journalism.<\/p>\n<p>She has worked as a journalist in both Canada and Brazil in the research, production, editing, and broadcasting of media content for a variety of media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>In Canada she worked as a news reporter for <em>Omni Television<\/em> in the Portuguese department, covering community events. She also worked at <em>CTV Toronto<\/em> in the research and archives department for 2 years.<\/p>\n<p>Since returning to Brazil in 2012 B\u00e1rbara\u00a0 has worked for <em>TV Clube Band<\/em>, one of the main broadcast networks in the state of S\u00e3o Paulo, and <em>Rede Minas<\/em>, a public broadcaster. In addition to her work in Brazil, she has maintained links to the Canadian journalist network, including an interview with Marcia Macmillan, for <em>CTV News channel<\/em> covering Brazilian current events<\/p>\n<p>What B\u00e1rbara loves most about journalism is its storytelling qualities. She is particularly grateful for the places that she has had the privilege to visit and the people whose stories she has been able to tell through her writing.<\/p>\n<p>In her free time B\u00e1rbara enjoys spending time with family and friends.
