{"id":13236,"date":"2020-06-16T09:26:26","date_gmt":"2020-06-16T13:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sjc\/?p=13236"},"modified":"2020-06-18T10:59:46","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T14:59:46","slug":"journalism-students-featured-in-national-observer-for-investigative-piece-written-about-the-effects-of-farming-herbicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sjc\/2020\/journalism-students-featured-in-national-observer-for-investigative-piece-written-about-the-effects-of-farming-herbicide\/","title":{"rendered":"Journalism students featured in National Observer for investigative project on the effects of farming herbicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A winter term full of hard investigative work paid off for four journalism students who were recently published in the National Observer.<\/p>\n<p>Second-year Master of Journalism students Joseph Tunney, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sjc\/profile\/azimy-qais\/\">Qais Azimy<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sjc\/profile\/andromidas-georgia\/\">Georgia Andromidas<\/a> and fourth-year Bachelor of Journalism student John Gallardo had their piece published on June 10.<\/p>\n<p>The project, \u201cRounding up glyphosate: Is there danger to human health?\u201d explores the effects that the widely used herbicide, glyphosate, has on the environment and human health.
