Eleven Journalism and Communication students have been named finalists in the 2022 Emerge Media Awards.<\/p>\n

The annual awards, sponsored and hosted by the University of Guelph-Humber in Toronto, celebrate and showcase the achievements of Canadian postsecondary students in journalism, photography, graphic design and communications disciplines.<\/p>\n

Carleton\u2019s School of Journalism and Communication (SJC) students have secured finalist positions in seven of the award categories. The finalists include seven Bachelor of Journalism (BJ) students, three Master of Journalism (MJ) students, and one Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (BCoMs) student. Winners will be announced between Apr. 11-15. See the full listing of SJC finalists below.<\/p>\n
