Brand: Poly Inc. (formerly known as Polycom) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Poly Inc.<\/a> was founded in 1990 in Silicon Valley by Brian Hinman and J<\/span>effrey Rodman. It develops video, voice, content collaboration and communication technology. <\/span>The company <\/span>initially<\/span> created <\/span>audio-conferencing<\/span> speaker phones, but soon added content sharing, video conferencing, video network and system monitoring products. It<\/span>s first product was the SoundStation in 1992. <\/span>HP Inc. Acquired Poly in March 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The SoundStation2 was developed in 2004 to replace the <\/span>original<\/span> SoundStation, a triangular speakerphone with full-duplex audio. It improved sound transparency with<\/span> 3 kHz <\/span>audio<\/span> bandwidth, dyna<\/span>mic noise reduction technology<\/span> and conventional analog POTS connection. <\/span>It also allowed an application port for mobile and internet calling.<\/span> The backlit display displayed phone numbers, numbers called, progress of call and caller ID.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
